If you need to reschedule your patient's appointment or practitioner's unavailable block to a different time or date, it's a quick and easy process! Keep in mind, all users within your account (except Bookkeepers) can reschedule an appointment. To see what changes were made, when, and by whom, you can also view the log of changes for any appointment.
At this time patients cannot reschedule their own appointments. However, you can allow patients to cancel their own appointments.
Reschedule booking via drag and drop
Depending on your device, you can quickly reschedule any appointment by clicking and dragging it to the new preferred time and date:
You'll see a message confirming you want to move forward with rescheduling the appointment:
Select Reschedule appointment and you're all set π!
Within 3-5 minutes we'll send a confirmation email with the updated date and time if you have automated confirmations enabled for the appointment type booked.
Reschedule booking via appointment
On the calendar, find the appointment you wish to reschedule.
Select the appointment by clicking on it:
The appointment pop-up window will open and you'll see a "Reschedule" button:
Once you click Reschedule you'll be brought back to the calendar page. From here, select the new time and date of the appointment:
The appointment will now move to the rescheduled date and time and you're all set π!

Note that rescheduling an appointment from the calendar is different than editing an appointment, which changes the overall details of all bookings. Reach out if you have any questions.
