When creating an invoice, you might want specific information that always shows up in your Notes:
This could be your payment terms, line item descriptions, bank details, or a thank you message. It would be a bit of a hassle to have to type this information into each invoice that you generate for a patient, so we've designed something to make this easier!
All you'll need to do is update your default notes once within your Cliniko settings, and after that, you won't need to worry about typing the same thing onto each invoice! Just follow the steps below and you're all set π!
Preload an invoice with notes
In order to preload notes on your invoices automatically, head to Settings, and then Invoices (under the Finances section):
You'll then see a field for Default notes:
Keep in mind that any text added for your default notes will only affect future invoices. No past invoices will be updated. If you need to add notes to an older invoice, you'll need to edit the invoice manually.
Once you've made your changes, make sure to Save your invoice settings at the bottom of the page.
Now you're all set! The next time you create an invoice you'll now see the default text preloaded. Keep in mind, you're free to make additional changes to the notes field before creating the invoice:
