One of the many nifty things about the appointment calendar is that it's super-duper flexible! Outside of its main function—booking appointments—you can also make things easy to view by colour-coding appointment types, easily scheduling time off, and more. 📆

If your schedule ever changes to be earlier or later, you can also update the range of the calendar to display those hours!

Change the calendar time range

Let's use the following example: your "main" schedule, as set up in your practitioner availability, is 9 a.m to 5 p.m. Your calendar looks like this:

However, you're switching things up, and now you're offering appointments starting at 8 a.m, all the way through 7 p.m. You've already set your schedule up to open those times, but now you need to be able actually see those hours on your calendar! To change that, follow these next steps.

Head to Settings, and then General settings:

Under Appointment calendar, you'll see the Calendar time range:

Use the menus to change your start and/or end times. For example, if you're starting at 8 a.m. and seeing patients through 7 p.m., you'd want to select 8:00 to 19:00:

Save the settings! Now, when you go back to your calendar, you'll see that those hours have opened up:

If you ever need to hide those times, simply readjust those settings! 🙌

You can also change the way those appointment blocks look—they can be shorter or taller, and you can even "break up" your hours into specific increments—such as 15-minute "blocks". Learn how to do that over here!
