Allow your patients to consent to your clinic's privacy policy when they book appointments online!

If you're using online bookings, you can include a link to your clinic's privacy policy. The patient making the booking will be required to accept your privacy policy before they can book the appointment.

This is an optional feature, but could be handy if you need patients to consent to your privacy policy!


Allow patients to agree to your privacy policy

Head to Settings, and then Online bookings:

Under Link to your privacy policy, add the URL where your policy "lives" (such as a page on your website, devoted specifically to your privacy policy):

Save those settings!

Now, when a patient books online, they'll see a message that looks like this before they can confirm their booking:

They will need to tick the "I accept" box in order to continue. If they don't they'll see a message like this:

The patient's record, in your account, will also automatically set their privacy policy status to "Accepted":
