While you have the option to print documents from Cliniko, you can also save them as PDFs and store them on your computer, or email them to someone. Saving something as a PDF is handy if you don't have access to a printer, or might just want a digital "hard copy" of something that can be kept on your computer!

Let's say that you want to save a particular report as a PDF. It's a little confusing because there's a "Print" button in the upper-right corner, but not a "Save as PDF" button:

However—you can still save something as a PDF! You'll just need to hit the "Print" button, and the next steps will occur from your browser's "print preview".

The following instructions will vary for different browsers, and while we'll do our best to keep this guide updated, we can't guarantee that the images and examples below will match the version of the browser you're using. They're meant to serve as a reference, but might not be exactly the same as what you'll see. We'll use reports for our example, but the general instructions will apply to anything you are trying to print from Cliniko.

We'll share examples of how to save something as a PDF from the following browsers:

All of these examples were performed on a Mac, but the method for saving as a PDF on a PC will be almost identical!

If your browser isn't on this list and you have questions, definitely feel free to reach out and let us know!
