Did you know your browsers and devices have built-in settings to control how Cliniko appears on your screen π?
Cliniko was designed to automatically adjust to most desktop, laptop, tablet, and mobile displays but in this article we'll walk you through the additional settings you have at your finger-tips!
You can easily reset these settings at any time!
Changing screen resolution on desktop
Noticing that your text and images are displayed too small or too large on your desktop or laptop π₯? If so, you can adjust your screen resolution to change the size at which objects are displayed on your screen. This will not only adjust/affect Cliniko but all content & applications on your device.
Keep in mind at higher resolutions, objects will typically appear sharper, but they appear smaller so more items can fit on the screen. At lower resolutions objects appear larger, but fewer objects will fit on the screen.
Changing screen resolution on Mac
Depending on your display size, your Mac automatically selects the best default resolution. To change the default resolution:
On your Mac, within the Apple menu ο£Ώ, select System Preferences
Select Displays
From here, select Scaled, then select any of the scaled resolutions options available for your display ("Scaled" text and objects may appear larger and more visible, or smaller to provide more space on the screen).
If you're using an external display, you also have the option to select a preferred resolution for each display separately. To see additional resolutions for the external display though, press and hold the Option key (β₯) while selecting the Scaled option.
Changing screen resolution on Windows 11
On your Windows desktop or laptop, open the Settings app (or use the keyboard shortcut Windows key + I)
Select System then choose the Display settings
Head to the Scale & layout section and under Display resolution select your preferred size.
Microsoft suggests that you stick with the "Recommended" resolution option. If you change the resolution, content might appear blurry or pixelated.
Adjusting browser zoom levels on desktop
While you can adjust the display or resolution settings on your desktop (which controls how much larger or smaller content will appear across the entire display), you also have browser zoom settings (which can be managed per website).
This is great if you want to adjust how Cliniko appears but not the other applications or content on your device π.
