Cases are a great way to keep track of various treatments—perhaps a specified number of GP referrals, a particular injury, or anything, really!

You can easily attach files to cases, which will allow you to quickly reference any relevant documents or images that might apply to the case—for example, scans, referral letters, or insurance documentation. 📝

Attaching files to patient cases

Files will need to already be attached to the patient's details before they can be added to a case.

Find the case you wish to attach files to, and edit it:

Under Files, hit the "Add another file" button:

You'll be able to search for the file you're after by typing its name (or at least a part of it's name; Cliniko will look for files that match what you're typing):

When you've selected a file, the file name will show up in the list. You can add as many files as you need:

Be sure to hit the "Update case" button!

You'll then see the files in the Attachments area of the case:

When you click on a file, it will open up in a new window for you (or download a copy, depending on your browser preferences):

And there you have it—that's how to attach files to cases. 🗂
