Connecting your Medipass account
First, head to Settings, and then Integrations:
Scroll down to the Medipass section:
Understanding the Medipass Integration
TheMedipass API key
The API key is a 32 character string that you get from Medipass. If you need help finding yours, they have a neat guide for you how to set up your Cliniko integration.
The Medipass payment allocation
This is how payments from Medipass will be recorded in Cliniko. It affects how payments show up on invoices and reports. You can select any payment allocation type that is right for you.
Click Save integrations settings and you're all done! 🙌
Enabling Medipass For Your Patients
Patients who are new to Medipass will need to install the app on their phones and register for the service before you can enable it for them. It is available on both iOS and Android.
For existing Medipass patients, you can simply go to their page and the option to enable Medipass for them will be at the bottom under the Health fund billing heading:
If you run into problems finding a patient's Medipass account, try confirming if their personal details on Medipass and Cliniko are up to date.
Cliniko will search for patients by the following information:
- First name
- Last name
- Date of birth
- Mobile number
Disabling Medipass for a patient is simple, as well—simply click the Disable Medipass button:
Note: You can also conveniently find out if Medipass is enabled for a patient at the time of invoice creation. Cliniko will display it below the patient's name:
