There are most likely going to be instances in which a patient comes in for a visit and will need a follow-upโ€”but not for quite a while! We introduced the recalls feature to assist with these follow-ups. By setting up recalls, you'll be able to pull up a list of patients who you need to get in touch with for any reason (as you can set the recall type!). Here's how to get started with recalls and apply them to your patients for easier follow-ups!

Setting up recall types

Head to Settings, and then Recall types:

We give you a couple of default ones, but to add your own, click on the Add recall type button:

Choose a name and the timeframe for this recall type (i.e. 2 weeks):

Click the Create recall type button, and you'll be all set! ๐Ÿ™Œ You'll see your new recall type in the list.

You can create as many recall types as you need, and you'll be able to set the duration from 1 to 100 days, weeks, or months! ๐Ÿ—“

Now that you've created your recall types, it's time to assign them to your patients. Head on over to learn how to assign a recall type to a patient to make your follow-ups even easier!
