If you need to see how much revenue your clinic has brought in over a certain period of time, the Practice revenue report will help out.
This report will break down your total revenue over a series of dates, including any remaining outstanding balances from invoices that have been created, but not yet paid.
☝️Note: This report is only available to users with the Administrator or Bookkeeper role.
Run a Practice Revenue Report
Head to Reports, and then Practice revenue:
On the next page, you'll be able to filter by date and business:
☝️Note: Invoices will be included in this report even if they have not been paid yet. The Practice revenue report bases its numbers off of the "issue date" of invoices (when they were raised).
You'll see a message like this at the top of the report:
That message will indicate how much, out of all the revenue reported in this report, is still outstanding.
You'll see a few different charts and tables that contain revenue-related data. These will include:
The summary of revenue over time:
The summary of revenue by practitioner:
The summary of revenue by item type (product, service, or other):
And, finally, a breakdown of each item sold:
If you wish to print your report, hit that Print button at the top of the page:
A "print dialogue" screen will open up, and you can print it out (or save it as a PDF to your computer!). 🖨Here's what the printed version would look like (it may be a few pages long, depending on how much information you have):
The Practice revenue report can't be broken down by practitioner. If you wanted drill down further, into the financial performance of individual practitioners, check out the Practitioner revenue reports!
