If you're using cases to manage a series of treatments, there's a good chance that you may need to add referral details! This will help you to keep track of which doctor sent this patient your way for these particular treatments, as well as when the referral expires.

Read on to learn how to add referral details to cases!

Add referral details to a case from the patient page

If you're adding or editing a case from the patient's details directly, the same process will apply—make sure that Referral is turned on. From there, you'll be able to add an existing contact, or create a new one—as well as set the issue and expiry dates:

Make sure that you save, and once again, you'll be able to see the referral details when viewing the case.
